Well, the engine's out and my poor 1200 has to sit for a little while until I can start trial fitting the SR20 maybe next weekend. Front end is up kinda high! With the engine out and then looking at my SR20...it's just barely possible that I could use the stock turbo location/manifold without hitting the steering box....time will tell!!!
Say goodbye to the stock radiator support that's been restricting airflow to the engine, and the ugly protruding battery tray that clogs up the engine compartment! I'll need as much room up here as I can get for the SR20DET!!!
Here she comes! Only took about an hour to get to this point...ready to come out! Any other car would've taken all day to get to this point....I love Datsuns!
A15 runs great! Ran her up to redline and burnt up the tire(s) on the way to the shop on her last voyage inside my 1200 coupe. This is the before shot just after pulling into the shop.
