This picture was posted over three years ago & is decidedly out of date as the A series was deep six'd [metaphorically] a while back. The engine is now an L20B & the carbs are still doin' their thing in this car.

Thanks Dodgeman!!
The A14 had 89rwhp and a great torque curve - it lives down in Tassie nowadays with a fellow 1200 member.
The L series too is on 'thin ice' with a new (better ) one being built. Will still keep the 45's but will keep on the lookout for 48's - just can't bring myself to injection just yet
Cheers

Excelent, must be a treat to drive it, spin it out. You guys, I am always reminded about the position of the brake master...in LHD Datsuns, it is not fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah but you guys can run rotaries without the inlet and exhaust getting in the way of the right sided booster!!
I cant move a rotor back onto the firewall for better weight distribution thanks to ours.

Move the rotary as far back as you can ( say - to the boot area ) and then drive to the nearest ocean and drop it in Otherwise you run the risk of being infected with Mazditis ..... the incurable brain disease that makes you believe that rotaries are for the good of mankind. You must turn away and return to the true faith of Datto and all the joys within !!
