Best: use a paper gasket
Acceptable: Use a think layer of RTV silicone sealer. Paper thin, just like the gasket. Wipe off all excess RTV. |

To use the new A12 bracket (to fit on newer crossmember), use 19mm worth of washers and a longer bolt or stud.
Bolt centers are the same fro the original A12 stepped bracket and the revised A12 flat bracket. |

To fit newer bracket, remove the stud and use a longer stud, or a bolt. |
