look heaps good. there was a white datto ute on ebay a while back with similar rims. they were tucked in the back heaps nice. sat nice and low too.

 Re: new wheels
well Ill vote against the 17's. minilites in 13 or 14 would look way better in my opinion.

EDIT: roughly how much are a set of 17's like this?

 Re: new wheels
from what 17s ive seen i think they actually make the dattos sit too high, in my opinion i would go 16s they are still a big enough rim but wont raise the car that extra inch, i currently have 15s on my white ute and they look too small (but have a great ride height)

WOLKI101 can you please show D how to correctly give your own opinion without insulting people...

i have 17's on my coupe but only cause i bought it with them fitted. i think 17's are great but 16's look cool too with the right tyre choice. my 1200 sedan will wear 16's if i keep it cause it will be the daily driver

Another thing to consider is just how badly the tyres are going to scrub. The profile of the 17' tyres you will require to do the job will be very unforgiving even if the wheel allignment is pervect. Toe out on turns will carve them up in no time. Unless you plan to drive in a srtaight line forever... How far from the nullabor plains are you?

 Re: new wheels
If thats how it will look, you'll probably need to make some room where the footwell is, looks like it will scrub.
Doesnt look bad but I still reckon it will look like arse with tiny rotors and drums behind them, much like every second honda or lancer going around.

 Re: new wheels
As far as rim styles go they look good. Not sure about the size though. Personally I wouldn't go over 15's abut it's not my car. Over the years I have advised alot of the apprentices I have worked with about the same sort of stuff and I give my opinion. At the end I always add

"Who gives a fcuk about what I think. It's your car. Build the car for yourself not for me. Who gives a smurf if I like it or not"

Build your car... Not mine.

Yeah there passable, those big chrome rims look like sh!t but a good quality light race style rim is approvable...

 Re: new wheels
just remember that when you ask for comments you can't expect them to be good, especially about a subject about big modern wheels on an old car. you didn't seem to happy when people started bagging your choice of big rims before. personally i dont like them but they're ####loads better than those vaults.
