 Re: New Datsun Logo The Datsun name was much loved & widely respected here in Australia, so Nissan did not dare just drop it, so they snuk it out the back door.
First we had DATSUNS, then we had nissan DATSUNs.
This was followed by NISSAN DATSUNs, then finally just NISSAN.
The phase out took about five years or so, but it would appear that the name still carries a fair bit of clout, so they seem to be fishing to see if it will still sell product.
I hope so. BRING BACK THE DATSUN!

Re: New Datsun Logo 1200rallycar, it looks like they still use the old Nissan badge. Pity they didnt continue making the new style Datsun badges on these cars, but bottom line is, its still a Nissan, just a model called Datsun.
If any1 can find a higher resolution image of that new Datsun logo I would luv a copy so I can print some stickers.
