 Re: back wall
after being inspired by some pic i found on the net, i went and got some sheet metal in black (to match the carpet) and had a 7mm edge bent on one end. that hooked in underneath the back window, and its pop riveted to the back wall. these will be painted black tomorrow.

stuck the datsun badge in the middle of the back wall.

i was thinking about this as well but looked at a cheaper alternative, fade resisatant contact adhesive... just like on the old school books. can keep it going up to the headlining and on the a pillars too.
can also choose different colours.

 Re: back wall
yep, thanx for the idea 4nik8....

This stuff is colourbond, same stuff as is used for flashings and stuff on your roof. (yep dads a builder, how'd you guess?? )
and its carpet on the side walls behind the doors.
don't know what the cost was tho...

is that contact adhesive stuff going to cover up the bumps in the back wall like this?(thats the main reason i went for this) if not its probably easier painting it or not?

Isn't there already like, no room in the cab, and you fit a fake wall, also don't the seats cover up the dings? well they do on mine
