Be honest now & admit it, your heart would swell with pride if you could wrap your hand around a wonderful knob like this.
Some lucky KB10 owners did.

That's a mighty fine knob indeed.
Polished to perfection...

Although my knob isn't as grand as this one, it's still a KB10 knob.

There's definitely no ordinary there.

Well TnP, i'm playing with my knob as i type this, it gives me such a wonderfull feeling.
Mines almost the same as the one in the photo, but with the gear pattern on the top & i'm sure it feels the same. It's such an extraordinary feeling

"Whether you're caressing the gearknob or fondling the bootlid, everywhere you look you are reminded that this is no ordinary Datsun"

... in fine print at the bottom of the options catalogue (2nd edition).

WOOHOO, it looks like I will get to wrap my hand around my own knob, & I can't stop thinking just how good it's going to feel.
Through the extreme good graces & generosity of one of our members, I too will be able to fondle it in my hand.

This is one rare find, & as usual, it wasn't cheap, but hey, it's almost tax time & it's gotta be my turn to get a refund this year.
At the rate i'm going, I'll need more gearboxes to fit them to.

Plan 'A' is to use this one in the car, & use the Sunny one whenever the car is displayed somewhere, like the Datnats Show 'n' Shine.
Thanks again Mat for all your help.

KB10, the car you always wanted.

If your goimg to spend a lot of time with your hand on your knob, it might as well be the correct one.
