Plurry hell, the Feral gnomes must have been ferreting through a lot of old archives to come up with this. It's amazing whats still out there & i really hope that you find the car, although i think you must brace yourself in case it's no longer as good as you remember it.

Spoke to Rob today he clarified this dyno sheet.
This is not the original 1770cc factory motor(which put out approx 160bhp) its a borrowed 180B sss with the FIA head on it, we used it whilst we were building the 2000 litre motor(imported the block from japan as the 200B was not out here yet). Rob put a crack in the block of the 1770(dropped a valve and piston tried to get out)Thank god for hepalite pistons, used them in the new motor.the 2 litre did not perform as well as the 1770cc,to long in the stroke.Greg

Crikey were did you dig that up from i had all but forgotten it went there as we used John shepard the last time and he fitted 48mm webers to improve power(can you find those dyno sheets).

Is that a 148hp at the wheels ?

If so good for An L18 in the 70's.

No it is at the flywheel we only ever used engine dynos in melbourne in the early days.Its a shame there is only a couple of engine dynos up her,most are private.Greg
