hey, its mirror finished stainless steel. pop riveted to the frame of the lid.

my dad got it done for my birthday custom made by a sheet metal worker. not sure how much it cost but dad loves me! i love it hey looks phat, awsome to lift the lid and sit in the tray - cant miss it everyone looks!

This may sound stupid but what is chequer plate made from?? Aluminium?? As I'm curious to what weld is used to weld it?? Is there different grades? as I very much like this shineyness of the checquer plate used but i take it has been severly polished up
