at last i purchased the linkage kit and manifold for this 42mm weber. went together very nicely although 2 important nuts were missing from the linkage kit so they need to be found. also fuel line hose missing at this point. cant wait. cheers to a mate for helping out heaps with it.
there were also 2  missing R - type pins to hold in various rods. apart from that the kit had everything.
the airfilter is missing from this pic but there will be a phat redline filter on there when its ready. not socks its a box air filter. |

Re: 1 x 42mm weber install almost finished you're also missing the thackwell rubbers which fit between the nuts & the carb.this allows the carb to move a little bit,as bolting webers solid to a 4 cylinder causes the fuel to froth up in the fuel bowl.sounds weird, but i did exactly the same with my first set of webers.when the problem was finally found all the smartarses gave me heaps.these little washers are rubber with a v cut into them,& there should be a little cup shaped washer to go between them & the nuts.thats why the studs are so long on the manifold.
