Cough, splutter, gag, choke,......gasp, gasp.
A Toyotarrrgh. Just shut the bonnet & we'll say no more about it.

Now, don't let on i said this, but it looks like a very clean well thought out instalation, as far as a brand X engine goes, you understand. Since you have the good taste to own a KB10, i guess i can overlook this trifling indiscression. Well done.[gasp gasp, now where's my oxygen]

The ECU for the engine has the ability to auto set the engine parameters for tuning i.e. timing, mixture adjustment etc. however you need to have a service part that plugs into the wiring loom.

While I was in the process of re-wring the loom I hard wired this facility (the weeee switch) and a potentiometer to set the mixture.

That's well done. I wouldn't have thought the 4AGE would fit in a 1000.

And 60% bigger engine!

There only about 100Kw stock....enough though to push this little car along real fine.

Very reliable. Started first time after almost 14 months and a chnage of fuel.
