![](http://datsun1200.com/images/icons/no_posticon.gif) Re: Adam_BDA The radiator is actually using the original tanks. We replaced the cores with a three layer fine core. The original core would not have performed well enough. We had it on the dyno last week sorting out the jets again and it ended up running between 90-95 real hp at the flywheel, which is not too shabby for a 1220cc engine. As you say - lots going on under there.
The main problem with the car is that it works nuts and bolts loose each meeting so we have to spanner the total car after each meeting, which we have done again today in preparation for the meeting this weekend. I am replying as he has gone out tonight. Adam's Dad

![](http://datsun1200.com/images/icons/no_posticon.gif) Re: Adam_BDA Nah Dattoman - they had sold it by the time I rang next day However we picked up a full going A1500 motor and box a week or so ago. We plan to use the bored and stroked A14 together engine with the A15 crank, existing carbies, cam, and oval port head (in the workshop) to build a 1600 engine over the Xmas motor sport break. Should run to about the 130-140 hp with that config. Now to a gearbox?? It will run improved production - 1600 next year Adam's Dad
