 Re: A12 & A14 Gearbox comparison Mareo made a good point once. He pointed out that the light parts in the 1200 contributed to its high fuel economy. No argument there.
When you fit heavier engine, heavier trans, diff, struts, tires, etc, the Datsun 1200 is still one of the lightest best performers on the road!
