finally got the hubcaps on, also 1" blocks in the back. not 100% happy yet, still got some more tinkering to do.

It's surprising what turns up. While working in the Bargo/ Tahmoor area [south of Sydney] yesterday [sunday] I pulled up outside a 'second hand store & junkyard'.
From them I bought two of these 510 hubcaps/ wheel covers & three of the 610 [180B] ones. The 180B covers are closer to the original 1000 coupe style, so I need two more 1600 items & one more 189B item.
Why?... Freedom of choice.

Boofhead - that looks fantastic mate. I love the cake tin hubcaps and the stance. IMHO get somw white walls and you're set.

is it just me, or do the front wheels stick out more now, or is it just coz it needs to be lower

Hubcaps/ wheel covers are Datsun 1600 [510]
They seem to suit all Datsuns, including,...

pigdog - ignore the front, offsets all over the place, which i gotta get sorted, and it needs to be lowered a little still.

matty - thanks, white walls are on the dream list for the moment. other pressing issues to solve first

haha, cant get ova how much i think the colour of your car is the same as mine in pics

every one thinks my car is red, its not fair

i want an orange in between the two, but its fine when the cars arent next to each other

Yes, they are good looking. But won't fit 12" wheels.
