a wild and possibly total bulshiz theory i had was that it might be there to channel condensed fuel in the event that it was cold enough.
or when the air/fuel had to turb at right angles, it hitting the floor of the port might condense it??
You wouldnt want it to puddle.
It just struck me as wierd how only two ports has it and not the other two
Im sure dd or dodge might be able to dig sumin up in the books.

can anyone tell me what the deal is with the channel things in the right hand set of ports of this standard manifold?
They run all the way to the opening and only feature in the front two ports.

Yeh my old Vannette manifold had em too. NFI why but fuel drain sounds good
