the whole bonnet is heaps good, not one dent, and then it is ruined by this! which means i have to find a new one

which reminds me, anyone is SA got a new/near new (doesnt have to be genuine) bonnet that will fit a 77ute??

You can get aftermarket panels new, Grand auto can get em, but you'll probably find cheaper prices elsewhere.

grand auto were a bit steep, you know anywhere cheaper and in the north pref. i think GA wanted bout 293 or some ####, ive seen em on the net for bout 120-180

Yeah i think that wreckers just off port wakefield road, waterloo corner wreckers said they could get them, i'd phone around and see who can get best prices, they vary so much.

'Waterloo corner wreckers' im sure, they are on the corner of waterloo corner road but pt wakefield road end if you get my drift, 8280 6939 is their no.
Id pull up the yellow pages and do some phoning around though! Youd be suprised how much this stuff varies.

Wetherill Park Panels in Sydney had new ones for about $110 or $120, so new ones are available at reasonable prices.
I sure hope that you can find one closer to home.

thanks fellas, when we bought the car didnt even notice it. cos we were more looking at the engine when we opened the bonnet, and the top looked shmick. my friend pointed it out when we got it home, not saying i woulnt have bought it cos of that, but could've haggled a lil more
