Heres the 3rd ute I have bought this year. I have two this colour and incredibly one is chassis number gb130084 and the other is gb130087 so they were very likely painted and assembled on the same day. Out of the 3 I should get one sweet ute. I have found a set of new long bed rear quarters and I can't wait to get into this project.

 Re: Beater Ute
Thanks guys but to be honest this ute is a real roughy. The interior trim is sweet and it's only done 165,000 Km. But the shell is stuffed.the tray has rusted out through the rear chassis rails and the rear bulkhead has detached itself from the floorpan. It does come with the later front crossmember, and 165 diff. It was still a good buy for $500.00. It will get reshelled with a really nice later model shell. The wheels were borrowed by my boys to make it look cooler!! I have a choice of rims to fit but it won't be these as they belong to the GX. It will most likely get some 2 piece Work 13" gold mesh centred rims , nice and old school...The final colour will be the JDM powder blue. No one seems to have left their utes that colour so I'll go the stock look, to be different. I hope to have this all done in about 4 weeks as I need it to help with the building of my garage.

Nice Wayne. Are those the wheels I think they are?
Hurry up and do this ute, so you can use it as a parts chaser for the coupes!
