Re: Thermo fan switch maybe could try the 90 deg one on the top hose and would be ok.
how did you mount it? zip ties? any pics of mounting?
My top tank is plastic so not sure how best to mount it. was thinking on thermostat housing but constant hot water through there causes a lot of residual heat in the alloy/metal surface.

Re: Thermo fan switch Doh! Things cost more in perth :( You need to stuff around a bit mounting it in different spots to make sure it turns the fan on at the right temp, I put mine on the bottom hose I tried the top hose but the fan ran for ages, head would probably be the best place.

Re: Thermo fan switch went and got 3 of these this morning, 70 90 and 100 deg (60 would be too low)
smaller than a 5 cent piece. should work real well for thermo fans.
you got ripped too, i only paid $4.95 each
