 Re: My New Wheels
They were bought off a guy who'd bought them for a project car, but never put them on his car.
they are +40offset (I know thats FWD offset) but the wheels will sit in more and with the help of spacers they will not hit the spring perch in the front and leaves in the back.

Cheers

 Re: My New Wheels
Demojob, sounds like a good price on very expensive-looking wheels.

1200ute8u1, here's how to decipher wheel sizes: 16x6.5's
- 16 inch wheel diameter
- 6.5 inch width

Here's what the tires sizes mean: 205/40-R16
- 205 mm tread/section width
- 40% profile (sidewall height is 40% of width)
- R = Radial tire
- fits 16 inch wheels

All wheels are sized in inches, except for the TRX wheels, meaning not the Bluebird TRX, but wheels for the Michelin tires used on mid-80s Fords, Volvos and a few other vehicles.

 Re: My New Wheels
thanks for that dd
I was just about to explain it but you did it for me :)
40profiles are VERY expensive, (the lower the profile the more expensive) you'd think they would be cheaper ie. Less materials used but I think it comes down to rarity of them.
Best quote I've gotten is $198 per tyre so I got one tyre at the moment put on so I can get spacers made up and to see how it looks on the car I got Faulken Falcon series. Very nice tread pattern with a large water channel in the middle

Cheers
Damo
