Hey converted,
sorry for not getting back to you earlier but was getting my act together for the event . There is a hillclimb at Dapto coming up on the 26th of Sept which is a good day. Tyre warming is permitted so there is something for every one !!!
Let me know if youwould like details.
Benny - you want to come too ?? Give me a yell if you do.
Cheers

Had to look twice at that avatar woody
Hillclimb is at Avondale Road , Huntley. It is in a rural area near Dapto just south of Wollongong. 40 - 50 mins from Campbelltown. Can give directions if you are keen.
Cheers

Good on ya converted !!!!!
Good to see another car to race with
Building a race car is a little like having children - it's a great idea at the start, then follows an increasing level of cost and discomfort, sometimes a rushed and painful birthing process which is immediately forgotten once you hit the track . But, just like raising kids, the costs keep on coming, it just takes and takes and keeps you awake at nights ....
BUT you wouldn't be without it because the joy and achievement it provides makes it all worthwhile
Hope to see you at a track soon !
Cheers
P.S. NSWRRC is running a S/S at Oran park on 5/9/04 - if you dare (lol)

Looks great Craig!!! I saw this car TOTALLY disassembled and in primer only in December! You been working hard on it and it shows! I hope I can get mine going sooner than later. This week I'm picking up a pair of brand new doors and hopefully welding in the engine/tranny mounts for the SR (I've been waiting on that FOREVER!) Anyway looks great Craig, how's she run???

-Andy

Sweet job mate! Looks very good, seems you've spent the $$ where they really count! How does it go? I'm particularly interested in that rear end, how is it? Do many race cars over there use it? I might bring some gear home with me when I go to Sydney later this year! Sound like the guy Taylor at Pedders really knows his stuff??
Post some more photos- it's great to see pics of cars in action rather than in the shed in a million pieces!! (not that I can talk... )

Hi Andy and NZdatman...yeah she goes well...almost faultlessly! Pushed rather badly because John couldnt get around to doing the front end camber due to my wheels not clearing the spring when he needed to bend the struts. In the pic it has about 1 degree but now has 3.5 degrees. It will have much more turn in and John reckons it will be good for another 3-4 secs a lap!!!
I'd have to agree as I just couldnt get front end grip. Cant wait now Im after a car trailer to purchase!
