i think its of a 180b i seen two sets at a swap meet a few weeks ago and they look real similar to this one
Big difference between 'similar' & 'the same'
180B used a two bolt flange, not four.
This one is a Hitachi carb & not an S.U. so it's definately not off an Austin or a Morris.
The beauty of a suck through turbo is that the carb sees a steady airflow, rather than a pulse airflow, which stops & starts. A constant flow of air will be easier to tune to &, generally speaking, you can get away with fewer/ smaller carbs that is normally seen on a non turbo instalation with more satisfactory results in regards to carb tuning.
Variable venturi designs seem to be well suited to suck through's & this should work well.
