which part of the strut? not familiar with strut bending

isnt the good thing about the r31 struts that the stub angle is greater than other datsun struts, making you able to run bigger wheels, also giving unwanted positive camber when put in 1200s
so by bending the strut to get more camber you will be losing the advantage of lots of room

this is where you just start with struts that are the right angle

the good think about r31 struts is you can run larger wheels but then the smallest you would want to run is 14" and then you still have to grind away at the brakes.
(you can notice if you look closely at the brakes up the top)

standard wheel on both R30 and R31 is 14". Shouldn't be any problem running 14" wheels over those brakes, and some 13" wheels will fit too.

 Re: r31 coilovers
i had to cut about 2 inches out of the strut to fit the inserts right there just standed steering arms also were the strut bolts to the steering arm you need to put a spacer in there to locate the strut nice it can be danderous without one.wat do yu mean about lca's also? wat r your thoughts on a strut bend to give more neg camber thanks

 Re: r31 coilovers
so your using standard 1200 steering arms or r31?

usually people use stanza lower control arms as this allows you to use the stanza ball joint and in turn the stanza steering arm, which r31 struts bolt to aswell
