What did you use to make the side indicators clear? I know the Z boys will be interested because they share the same lens setup.

A 2 door wagon? never seen one of them before... well i dont think so!

The 2 door wagon is called a Van. The four door wagon is the Estate/ Station wagon

Correct me if wrong...I guess that is it. The vans were common in UK

120Y station Wagons (4 door vans) were quite common: but the sedans were/are preffered as the Vans (both styles have 4 wheel drums and Lung punchers (non collapsable steering columns as they had 3 on the tree (column Shift 3 speed manual)

the 2 door vans are VERY rare.... and The 2 door wagons are even rarer still!!

if I could find a nice 2 door van I'd go through the "pus and pain" of setting one up with stanza struts and a L18! (pref. SSS spec!)

This is a picture of a VB210 -- V for Van. In Japan are wagons are called "van". You might be thinking about "panel van" which has no windows on the rear sides.

There were 2-dr and 4-dr vans for Datsun 1200, I dunno about B210s though.

See our Club wiki [url=http://wiki.datsun1200.com/index.php/Wagon[/url]. "Estate Wagon" I think is a British English term. In America we rarely say that, more often "Station Wagon" or just wagon.

so whats the difference between a 2door wagon and a 2door van??? If a 4door wagon is a 4door van???

my one (same as pictured, but more rust ) was stock standard and had disk brake front and 4speed floor shift.

4 door van - oops they don't exist..

the 2door van/stationwagon is the same bodystyle... just the wagon has factory fitted side windows (slightly larger than the aftermarket ones...)

I thought the vans/stationwagons were base models... Ie. no stainless trim, no carpet, no radio, no ciggy lighter, and had the mechanical differences I mentioned before...

There is *no* difference between a 2-dr van and 4-dr van except ... two doors. The B110 (Datsun 1200) came in both versions. Take a look at the pictures.

4-dr van.

2-dr van.

I did not know how numerous the 2 door "vans" were. It is kind of strange, a 2 door wagon/van/estate/station wagon....that limits access to the rear area....but perhaps I see it that way because it is really unusual to me.

I guess you are too young to remember Chevrolet Nomad wagon, Ford Pinto wagon, and Chevy Vega wagons. All were 2-dr wagons and extremely popular. The little ones sold millions, while the Nomad is now a very desired collector item.

never seen a pinto or a vega... but the 1955-1957 nomads are cool!...

the nomad specific parts are worth a fortune... so if an incomplete one shows up at the nearest swapmeet.... RUN!
