Well if you look at it from a maintenance side I rekon the Weber is better because you can reach the nuts easier, you can find parts easily online or through any auto shop that gives a darn about old stuff. If it was down to using a good condition hitachi on a standard engine then that would be nicer because it's theoretically tuned for it.
