Datsun's office the gearstick is reversed...as in taken out of the socket and turned 180 deg...better clearance from the handbrake and better forward than back as my elbow was hitting the seat when I shift to second and fourth |

Re: Dragongoose Sunny Coupe SR20-DET Not the plate.........you take the plate off look under the plate theres a circlip ...take it out and take the stick out of the socket and turn the stick 180 deg.....you will see....Its that easy.......everything just fits like a glove drives great too I have to get a custom sway bar yet...but mortgages are first in line won't be long now..

Re: Dragongoose Sunny Coupe SR20-DET hi allan, you can't take that cover plate off & reverse it to move the whole shifter forward, like some toyota's,can you?i can't tell if it's symmetrical or not.also, get the standard sunny gearknob & put it back on,to me they feel better,& there's no give away shift pattern.stealth rules.this has convinced me,i'm going to use a r30 stumpy box when i get the sr20de into my sedan.

Re: Dragongoose Sunny Coupe SR20-DET No you can't reverse the plate. I thought of that with mine. I'm amazed by the size of the tunnel in the car, excellent.
