![](http://datsun1200.com/images/icons/no_posticon.gif) Re: silvia brake conversion The sr20det calipers are four pots and have nissan cast into the front as well. these may be the same caliper as the turbo r32 skylines? mine are just na sr rotors off a s14 silvia.

![](http://datsun1200.com/images/icons/no_posticon.gif) Re: silvia brake conversion This caliper was available on R32 Skylines (mostly on non-turbo models) they seem very familiar as my R32 GTSt had these brakes on it too.

![](http://datsun1200.com/images/icons/no_posticon.gif) Re: silvia brake conversion Not too sure what the rest of you mean, but the SR20 silvia's did NOT have the 4 spot calipers with NISSAN cast into the front of them. You may have, however, seen several silvia's getting round with them on because it's a fairly simple bolt on upgrade on an S13.
All it takes is the R32 gtst 4 piston caliper and the R33 non turbo 4 stud disc and this all bolts straight onto an S13 hub assembly.

![](http://datsun1200.com/images/icons/no_posticon.gif) Re: silvia brake conversion They are the CA calipers aren't they? I think the SR calipers have NISSAN set into the front face of them, same as the R32, Z32 and 300ZX ones i think.

![](http://datsun1200.com/images/icons/no_posticon.gif) Re: silvia brake conversion CA and SR calipers looks the same but different size and different disc diameter. skyline Z32 etc are the sumitomo 4 piston ones you see with the nissan stamped on them, they also vary on the thickness of disc they cant take, Z32 brakes take a thicker disc.
