Cool stuff Dave, I have never seen a factory pic of the rear spoiler before...plenty on race cars so I now know it was an option for the road cars too. The seat looks like the same as fitted to the GX5s.

Wow - headlights were an option???

I've never seen a factory bob-tail either!!!

This opens up whole new field of aerodynamics for historic racing...

I am surprised that not many rear spoilers made it out to the public. Very seldom if ever I see a 1200 with a factory spoiler. Perhaps back in the day it was way too flashy. I am trying to think with a 1970 frame of mind

That spoiler is great, I am glad to see it wasnt just the KB10 that got all the cool options.

Was the ducktail/ spoiler a factory option, or a factory accessory?
If it's an option, it should appear in the options list at the end of the specifications panel of the brochure.

I am assuming of course that you can get that part translated.

Matt, your aunt Mabel has style.

 Re: Sunny Excellent 1400 options
The PB110 Coupe trunk lid (boot) is the same as B110:
84300-H1800 ASSY-TRUNK LID COUPE

So the spoiler should fit any 1200 Coupe.

The part number doesn't seem to be in the parts catalog, so maybe it was a dealer-added option(?). The B110 FIA docs give a part No. 02070-00101 for the spoiler.

 Re: Sunny Excellent 1400 options
The part numbers for factory options were usually listed in the parts book while factory accessories were not normally seen there.

The only exception that I have found is the Air Conditioning which is an accessory item & shows in my B10 book as "Kit, Cooler, Room, Dash" It actually lists it as an accessory in the description.

It would seem then that the spoiler was probably a factory accessory & not an option.

Item #5, the fibre-optic illuminated dash knobs, look identical to the ones all 1973 Datsun 1200s have in USA.

They were developed, perhaps, to meet the 1973 US safety regulations?

sorry, dd, but to know if they're identical, we need to have them sent to a lab for analysis

I can see a great business opportunity....collecting badges and detail items from other markets and introducing them as novelty in the other part of the globe.

What is common dinner in one area is exotic in another one.

And you could advertise the times with "L@@K - geniune JDM badge. Very Rare!" and quadruple your profits.

$16 badges from Nissan are selling for about $58 on eBay -- and that's just USA badges sold to USA customers.
