This is the j18 as found in many mexican cars such as the datsun samurai among others and even tractors. It could be what the a15 was missing for 1750cc as the j series engine was the before the a-series and what the "A" was based on. They came in 77.6mm stroke in j13,j15,j16 and taller in the j18 the bores range from 73-80mm.
