That 2 door model was not available in US. The only ones I have seen are imported.
Nice car.

This is not only a two door, but it is a fastback two door is it not? The side quarter windows look diferent to any two door I have seen over here.

It looks like you have got a bit of work cut out for yourself, I hope it is an enjoyable build

If the side windows wind down & there is no 'B' pillar, then it's a Hardtop model, not a fastback.
Hardtops are really cool.

The roof of a Fastback would slope all the way to the end of the body, leaving no separate boot, or trunk shape. A 120Y coupe could be described as a fastback.

Many fastback models also have a larger rear opening panel that often incorporates the whole rear window in the hinged panel, or deck lid. [like the 120Y coupe does]

i'm pretty sure this is called a bluebird sss coupe. the rear lights are different and there are a few other different things bodywise to a 2 door 510.

dattodude's brother jeff is putting an SR20det in one of these, a very thorough project indeed!

jeff's 510 sss coupe

You're right. If it has a 'B' pillar, & the smaller rear/side window, it's a coupe.

Which has a larger rear/side window & a more squared off rear portion of the roof.

Either way, they look good.

He bought them them through Nissan a long time ago.

His car is looking good. Should hopefully be driving and registered in the next 3 weeks.

I just spent about the last 4 hours reading through jeff's build up. Man talk about thread hijacking What a nice car though.
Dodgeman: Thats what I was meaning to say when I said the fastback, I knew there was the sedan and another type but I couldn't think of it so I opted to type fastback. I agree though, both very cool

I wouldn't call 15-20 lots of them.

I also wouldn't say they are "available". But I will have one.

Someday...
