The seats (original?) in the 1200 are in really good condition

How were those rear-seat shoulder belts fitted?

there are factory anchorage points in the C pillar. must be due to ADR's (Australian Design Rules). Did the US 1200's not have lap sash rear belts?

I don't think any Aussie 1200's had cloth seat trim.

US 1200s did not have rear 3-pt belts, just lap belts. I wonder if the mounting points are there ...

Good question. The front seats (by shape) are not original compared to any I've seen. Did other Aussie sedans have seats like this?

Front seat headrests were optional. You could add them later to the original seats (all 1200 seats had the holes for the headrest).

They look like the later Sunny ones, I had the same cloth trim in a 1.5 ZX .

I actually have a 1200 with REAR seat headrests! That's right, I said REAR seat headrests. I don't knoe if they are something the previous owner had installed, but they are the only ones I have ever seen.
Speaking of the previous owner, he made a remote trunk release by attaching a piece of coat hanger to a starter solenoid! This was hose clamped in behind the plastic interior parts and used to pull the mechanism. It took me a while staring at it to finger it out when I discovered it.

OK, dimlight65 ... now we are dying to see a picture of the rear-seat headrests. Or better yet, the remote trunk opener.
