Ok, here's the story....i'm fine now except for a bit of a weak knee.

I sold to the car to a poor sole who had to replace nearly everything......virtually had to rebuild the car from scratch..... I did warn him, but he really wanted it.

That's bad dude. These kind of photos remind me why I drive really carefully on the road. This is why they don't have trees as part of the racetrack..normally.. Dick Johnson in his TruBlu Falcon at Bathurst in the 80s will agree...

Breaking your datto is probably a close second to getting it stolen.

Im very sad for you. It's good that you are ok. Good thing that you have a 1200 ute. You can now concentrate on a REAL car ...heheh.

The mags are old TSW jobs, with the centre caps missing. 15 x 6.5 inch with 205/50 and 195/50 tyres. Don't know how much I'll want for them.

but I'm gonna get myself up and walking again before I start stripping it, so you vultures have all got a couple of months to think about what you can peck off my poor car

 Re: 1600 vs Tree
I don't think I will straighten this one, there is too much damage. the motor's been pushed back and everything.
My 1200 ute will be much easier to fix so i'm thinking about painting it orange with 13B turbo and using the KILV8S plates...in memory of this car. hahaha.
We'll see what happens anyway.

And as far as my recovery...thank God for pain killers!!!!

And Bob...read the Commentary on Street Racers thread...that explains what happened
