I used the 1600 Golf radiator, but I have an idea that it might be to small, will see when it goes to the dyno... Might consider that Camry conversion someone posted earlier.

How does it go? I also see that you slanted your engine slightly, would help with the oil drain problem these engines have. I should have done mine that way too, could probably put just make some different mounting to slant it a bit. You have far more space left than me... Soon, very soon I'll be driving mine.

haha any slant on the engine was entirely by accident.

It cools well, har to compare to the previous one as I now dont have a gauge, but the bonnet doesnt get as hot now, and I dont have to top it up every time I drive it.

gearbox seal leaking? that kills clutches fair quick
can get a custom made heavy duty clutch kit....it doesnt cost any more than a standard clutch kit and they can go something like 60% more clamping pressure

well thats what happened to my brother with his 3tc anyway. the guy at the clutch shop said that if it slipped he would be just making too much power

there isnt much oil around the bottom of the bellhousing to suggest thats the problem, I think its to do with pivot points etc. The clutch operates in the first 3cm of pedal travel
