A L20B with webers and extractors in a 120y. About 80 to 85 KW at flywheel.

hey man, thanks, sorry about the late reply. I'll get a close up of the grille in the future as at the moment I'm trying to get an engineers cert for the car. Unfortunatly I have to change the engine mounts in order to fit the -6 degree camber. But the grille is off a coupe hand had honey comb holes and a big 'D' in the middle with that metal strip.

oh yeah and also the paint looks good because it was reasonalbly new and the rain water on it made it look better for the photo. But if you had a close up you'll see that I'm a poor painter and also made the mistake of using enamel.

The grille is out of a 1977/78 120y coupe.
How do I know?
Because I own a '77' 120y coupe with the same grille.
She looks tough, but one question is,
wouldn't the bonnet be very close to touching the rocker cover being a L20b motor.

haha, well if you looked at it front on and with the wheels dead straight you can see massive negitive camber, -6 degrees. That is because the motor in on a 240K front end, with 240K control arms and struts and springs, with a custom sway bar. The sway bar wasnt made when that pic was taken, but it hangs down clearly in view under the car. Thats why the motor doesnt touch the bonnet. But the car handles like rubbish, and I got pulled by the cops and they are making me get an Engineers Cert. So now i have to mount the motor with stanza stuff, and like you say, I'm going to have a problem with the hight.
