 Re: yay got my discs
When looking at other people's brake setups I always tend to wonder, is it really neccesary to have such big discs or such heavy discs?

Why did you go away from the Camry one's?
I would have thought that they will be up to the job as a camry is much heavier than a 1200 datsun.

My future brake upgrade that I would like to do (if money is not a problem) is Nissan Almera discs and Ford Focus calipers.
I know of a 1400 bakkie with this setup.
3 stops directly after each other from 200km/h to 0km/h and they were'nt even smoking or glowing red.No brake fade. Boltdash's brake setup. He is a member on this site.

 Re: yay got my discs
coz i want to be able to say ivce got the biggest brakes that will fit in TRX rims.....and i had the money
and i can sell the camry disc landcruiser caliper setup to get some money back on the skyline brakes

if i wanted sufficient brakes i would have left the 200b discs and twin piston sumitomo calipers on there....but wheres the fun in that
