you should get one of those ebay "electric superchargers" and stick it on the passenger side of the intercooler so it gives intercooled forced induction to your airfilter

All this talk of turbo setups and no one has given him a wassup on the paint. Good job man!!

Just bought a compressor and gun myself so I can etch prime and hi-fill Kirstie's ute. I'm not allowed to paint it though (2 pack, little tricky for inexperienced backyard job). Hopefully I'll be able to repaint my ute by the end of the year.

Yeah, alot of people have told me it's easy, so I thought bugger it, why not have a bash.

Your first up effort has given me even more confidence. Thanks for the inspiration mate.

with the intercooler i used a 90 degree angle piece of aluminium and bolted it to it, its blended well enough that you wouldnt notice and anyway you cant see it cos everything is in the way.

Yeah ,the paint looks spot on.
I'm not knocking your paint one bit, but having said that, I think that white is a very forgiving colour. It looks great even if the gloss level isnt high, and it can be a bit thick and thin in spots and nobody notices.
Good work ! looks great, and heaps cheaper than getting a paint shop to do it eh ?
