yeah i might look into it dont expect to get the oil lines til wednesday so it off the road til then anyway. as for the engine size its an a12

NICE! my dad ain't gonna believe this! he always thought that if you put any super charger or turbo on a datto engine it would blow up, but looks like u can do anything!

Tell your dad then that there is a little Datsun 1000 in Tas with a standard Datsun A15 motor running 30psi or around 2bar boost!!! 95,000km later and the motor is still hauling ass!

Very nicely done. Tell me, the internals according to the repair manual are quite good (rods look pretty good), but the pistons are cast right? There's no worries with stripping ring lands with boost?

I'd look at turbocharging the A12 B310 we have here some time if it didn't require getting custom forged/hypereutectic pistons made...

looking sweet jake and the pod fits in there nice thats the same one i'm running be good when the ute is on the road 2 turbo ute's in the ville 0 yeah

Well elec ignition has the capasity to give a much larger spark and you dont have to keep playing with timing with your points too!
And seeing as it cost me $65 and takes ~1hr... i cant see why not? Check out the pic in my gallery called "elecy ign, easy as!" for a full rundown.

I spotted it coz your balast resister is still hooked up!
