is it a high temp paint?

if not the heat will make a horrible smell and then flake off as it burns.....

either way it's shiny!

Yes it is high temp, but as dodgeman pointed out if all the rust was not removed (which I must admit it wasn't) it will be back to rust in no time. I am learing as I go, thats why I joined this site....Thanks all

Its too bad there seems to be no such thing as a long lasting high temp paint. Only thing that seems to work over the long term is ceramic coating.

well if the rust comes back, it's a good excuse to go out and get a set of headers for it!

It sure looks nice, but unless you sandblasted every particle of rust from the manifold, I fear that the paint job will not last very long as the rust will soon return. At least, that's been my experience.

Good point. Just trying to get her back on the street for a bit before I do the whole round. Have another a12 block to build and a friend that is building a rotissire (how do you spell that?), have floor issues and some front end apron and core support work needed.
