Got my new tool today -- a vacuum gun for testing.

The diaphragm here is holding 25 inches of vacuum. Most of my spares are bad...

This is a Mityvac brand vacuum gun. You squeeze the trigger a few times and it build up to 25+ inches of mercury. You can test all the vacuum parts:
* Distributor advance
* Carburetor parts
* EGR
etc

It has a brake bleeding kit with it, maybe I'll try that someday. But a glass of brake fluid and a piece of hose has worked fine for me.
