Re: rust...glorious rust this roof has more holes than swiss cheese however i have another ute which has a perfect roof but its bodys not straight i am considering swapping but im not sure how?!? anyone else whos has done this how did you ie. where did you cut how did you ensure strength in the pillars afterwards etc etc help VERY much appreciated!

Re: rust...glorious rust find out where the factory joins are and do the rejoining there
i think cutting and rewelding the pillar on an angle gives it more strength than just cutting straight across.....pretty sure thats what trade school said

Re: rust...glorious rust you can see the front join in the photo. the rear one is in line with the gutter.
just put the roof skin on don't cut the hole thing off.
