Just driving along and wham! ran over a snake, I stoped the car and got the shovel from the boot ran up to the snake and started striking it like mad! Just goes to show that a 120y CAN kill ANYTHING! lol

going by the look of it what you got there looks like it might be a King Brwn or something of the like...deadly ####ers they are you are well within your rights of "protecting" yourself! those buggers are lethal!

at least it was helped along on its journey of death by a Datto.....its should be thanking YOU for the opportunity and the pride in having been killed by a classic car!

both 2 door sedan 120Ys, both with front drivers side bumper damage. I will have to keep that in mind next time I see a 120Y 2 door, check for bumper damage......
....then check for guns or shovels

I think the real message here is that next time you think about cutting off a busted-ass 120Y 2 door to get where your going faster, think again.

Well that's interesting.
Snakes are a protected species in Australia, & here we are, with a picture pf the perp, holding the victim & the murder weapon, along with an admission of guilt right here on the site.
At least one member [possibly two] of this forum is/are police officers.

You are allowed to kill a snake to protect the life of yourself or another person, but clearly this is not the case.

Mmmm, as far as I can detect from his description that goes with the photo, he ran over the snake. So he probably did a good thing, putting the snake out of it's misery, after it was damaged by the unfortunate accident...

you bet! got alot in the boot rope, tow cable, shovel, normal tools, ect.

poor little car! all well! it will soon be past down. sniff* sniff* it will be a sad day when it goes! but me ute will cheer me up!
