Is that a silicone hose? Is it flexible?

The part between the two hose clamps is yes. The rest is just a painted metal pipe.

For Tyrie, don't know if he saw this...

Note the red circle, this indicates the indentation between the two runners per port, that I was referring to. Also note the 8 runners instead of 4, the TVIS plate closes one of the runners on each port when not activated.

The 220mm measurements are overall height and width, I never got the TVIS plate, but you could probably add about 10-15mm to the face of the manifold for the TVIS plate, if my memory serves me right.

Hope these measurements helps you out...

Note my previous post lower down, about the adapter plate in picture above...

cheers mate, very helpful pics!

I've been thinking more, if I put the turbo on, and put a pipe from the turbo outlet straight to the throttle body I have, making a twincharged setup. I'd have to move the breather hoses etc but it could work...
ideas?

It might work a little bit, but not very inefficiently, as the turbo will have to blow throuhg the super charger, and that will slow the flow down to the point of no gain almost. What most people do, is they make a pop valve that switches between the supply from the SC to the turbo, very complicated, and not worth the extra effort involved in my opinion...

It doesnt blow through the S/C does it? isnt there a bypass where the air flows when the supercharger is switched off?

Sorry I couldn't really check if the adapter plate was visible, when I took the photo, but it'll give you an idea of how to do it, if you do... If you look closely, you can just see the plate sticking out above the clutch cable. It is also still the original throttle body.

This engine is in a red 1400 Nissan bakkie. I never got to see it run, as I was in the back of the line coaching my wife on her take-off, she was going to race a Golf... But it certainly sounded nice when running. It had the K50 Corolla gearbox in it, from there the cable clutch. Was also still running the standard diff.
