Needed to get the NA flywheel, as the supercharged engines don't fit in the new bellhousing. The left hand one is the new one, incidentally 20V's, and the right hand one the old SC one. Note it has those mounting points standing out above the surface, that's what gets in the way.

Just an update, contacted a place by the name of Nor Brake in Jo'burg, they make these things on order to your specifications. Gave him some specs, and asked what it will go for, he reckoned about R580 for a solid one, the previous one I bought cost me R850. So I asked about a spring centered one, and he said R780, so I ordered one immediately, they should have it ready by today.

He says that if you go beyond about 600HP, then one should consider going solid, otherwise it'll be good. I'm making about 260HP at the flywheel, so it should be good. Will see...

This weekend I'll assemble the lot and get it going again...whoooohaaaaa

Interesting... I'm running a 20V flywheel too, with a 7afe clutch

Problem is, that I'm also running a W58 Toyota gearbox, it's input shaft is way bigger then the 20V's, and the 16V's for that matter. So now I have to have a clutch made up that has the bigger boss, with the 20V surrounds. I used a solid plate before, but I think I'm rather going for a spring one this time. Should be softer on the gears, and unless they make a stuff up with the springs and stuff, I can't see why it shouldn't last as long, and have the same bite.
