I have mentioned the bumpers before, the front one is the same as a 510 also.

My bumper is a bit thinner in the centre part. This one seems a bit thick.

Sorry Velociti, don't know the owner.
And, also, it is not a GX. It is a deluxe.
Check the bootlid. At the left side it must have a GX badge and also on the sides of the rear of the car. This one has Deluxe badges.

My South African GX sedan is a 1975 model so they made them until at least then if not til '76.
Also, the 1600 style bumpers front and rear are standard fitment on all South African built Datsun 1200 sedans and coupes. They are pretty much identical to Datsun 1600/P510 bumper bars.
Cheers, Shane.

This blue GX sedan has the option boot chrome handle, and option trumpet exhaust. And is six inches longer than that Mini.

Hmm..shame about the 1600 (510) rear bumper. Everything else is great.

I didnt even realize it was a 510's bumper, until you pointed it out. You got a good eye for Dastuns it seems.

Sorry to dig this up, but my car also has this type of bumper. i wonder of Nissan Sa fitted them as standard. I've only ever once seen a GX that is shorter along the sides... I did want it immediately, but the owner wouldn't sell...
