Re: fresh a14 head I remember a customer at mammi motors had one of these H75 heads in a suck through t25 saab snail setup years ago, we chatted a bit before heading home the same way and it destroyed my normally fast v8 one tonner, I was gutted :).
Sure is a factory A series turbo head :)

Re: fresh a14 head The head is not low compression. It has all the advantages of open chamber, without the downside of low compression.
On A-series engine in general, compression is controlled by the piston dish, not the combustion chamber. It is the opposite with certain other Datsun engines.
H75 open chamber and H89 closed chamber are both 30cc +- 1cc.
