Re: A15 Crankcase breather If you are asking what is supposed to be done, it's supposed to go into a PCV valve, which is screwed into the intake runner (or balance tube).

Re: A15 Crankcase breather Can either: fit a small breather as found on the rocker cover style, vent to ground by pipe (dodgy) or fabricate a balance tube to be fixed to the inlet manifold or any other option along the same lines!
I went with option 1 and worked fine if your engine doesnt have much blowby.. Dave

Re: A15 Crankcase breather Quote: vent to ground by pipe (dodgy) Actually, that's the factory way for early engines. Not dodgy at all... Discussion here: Main Forum: A15 crankcase breather

Re: A15 Crankcase breather Is this a dedicated competition engine, or a street engine? If it's for racing, then you can utilise a catch can as per the regulations for your class, but if for street use, it should be connected to a PCV valve.
Venting it to the road is illegal in Australia as it leaves oil on the road surface which motorcyclists love whenever the road surface is damp. Use this method & pop around to the local chapter of an outlaw club & have a laugh about it with them.

Re: A15 Crankcase breather what about the earlier a10 engines, the one i have has the pipe that drops straight to ground that couldnt be illegal. what if i removed it from the a10 and put it on the a12...it would atleast look original
