an A14 EFI will make my life easier as well!! will keep on searching for one!! I had a similar setup made up but it was horribly expensive. My ute used to make 96hp on T2.5 turbo, since fitted electric fan , BOV , Dumpvalve and T3/4. Must dyno to get new power output reading?

as soon as my rally car is done i'll be back on to my turbo a-series

good work, looks sexy as, have to ask why you didnt turf the battery to the rear?

i seem to explain this everytime i take a engine shot. but i dont mind talking about my toys.

the battery is still in the front because with the old setup it didnt matter if it was in there or not

see how the pipe needed to be in that position and considering i already had the piping going in that direction so in short im lazy.lol.

cool....

i did the same thing from a carby box setup like that
to the stock efi manifold

mine goes right across the radiator and probably picks up more heat thean yours

 Re: alloy radiator mount
dunno if this is also covered elsewhere

but.... how does it go with spooling up and stuff?

i was going to put my ca18det in instead of my a15ett but remembering what the sr20 was like in my 180 (which i assume a ca18 is similar to) the lag made it boring, had to thrash the crap out of it to get it to go fast otherwise it was a slug

the boost up was soooooo good with the a-series turbo, just a typical take off with would leave everyone behind without having to stomp it

i just have to go back to a-series turbo again!!!

looking good dolphin man, will be interested in the dyno sheet for sure.

remember michael that you were running a bog stock sr in your 180, plus it was a 180 (heavy). the little datto plus a CA with boost will poo all over your a15tt. not that i don't dig the a series turbo as i'm in the process of one myself. but with a few minor mods a CA will put out 180 fast spooling kw.

sorry for the minor hijak...

this setup is fitted with a stock a12 bottom end, a14 reco head with better springs, factory a14 efi, ihi vj26 ball bearing turbo, 400 x 300 x 75 intercooler and 2.5 inch piping, 2.5 inch dump pipe into a 2 inch exhaust, the injectors have been upgraded but i cant remeber what they came out of and its still running a regraphed dizzy all controlled by a wolf 3d ecu.

the setup is looking good! looks like it means business.

is there any problems with the length of the intercooler piping?

what sorta figures are you hoping to make?

 Re: alloy radiator mount
the old setups piping was about 30cm shorter and i still had very little lag so i feel this should not be all that much different

the old setup got 75rwkw with the carb but it was leaning out at full boost so this new system should hopefully put me around 90 ish (i hope) if it gets these figures i will be very happy but i expect about 85rwkw
