there is a machine that will do it for you, but y bother i think. get your hands dirty.
ps i get a lot of this because im now a first year apprentice motor mechanic lol

Very good little video & as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so I suppose this video must be worth a million.

As for me, I have a tool that does it in a trice, with much less mess. For those without, your method is great.

Cool, hope it helps someone down the line somewhere. Some guys simply smear some grease on the outside of the rollers and cage, wich is usually what causes premature failure. I think on the youtube site I did mention that one get's a tool that does it for you, but since I don't have one, as you said...

I have a tool for this, it is two cones you but the bearing inside and use a chassis lube gun with it.

But I still prefer to do it the way in the picture.
