i bought this car for $660 as seen in the first three photos. it came with a original 15" bosley rims (worth more than the car). 200sx exhaust tip, crome gear knob, and a aftermarket steering wheel the guy was gonna put a CA18Det but didnt have time so i am restoring it and modifying the car tell me wat u think

well i decided to remove the mini last nite and i believe i did the right choice i was talking to my engineer and he said to me good luck trying to engineer it without reciepes (lol) i ####ed my self anyway i will post new photos in the near future when i can find my ####en bluetooth adaptor. but yer its going for a respray this friday cant WAIT!!!.

Might be a stupid question, and a quick search on the wiki didn't reveal to much, but what does mini tubed mean? I suppose it's something like fitting a chassis frame in the back for the suspension to hang of, but because it's only for the back it's called "mini"

When you "tub" a car, you remove the original wheel well for tyre clearance. Usually you move chassis rails in etc. . . for big drag slicks.

Mini Tub is when you only go as far as the original chassis rail.

ur i have fixed the rear end and i have painted the engine bay, i took a A-series engine off him becoz the l series block had a crack in it. is starting to look good i also mini tubed the back, so yer but later in a couple of months ill probly put a 12a or ca18det, maybe even a QR series engine.

looks like a two door sedan to me.
A coupe 120y has a hugely slanted rear end with glass hatch

About time someone bought it, its been on carsales for years!
Its got an L-series motor in it doesnt it?

edit: sorry just looked at the pic, its got no motor in it, but I'm sure the ad said its set up for or had an L-series?

No tyrie the bloke who owned this also has a 1200 coupe with an l series he converted the coupe back in 75! possibly the first l series conversion in Australia! This cars from wagga ive seen it before looks like a good project good luck!
