They're 200/500 - 13's. I have no idea what this equates to in more regular sizing. Anybody know?

By my calculations, and I may be 100% bass-ackwards, those tires came out to be approximately 205/40-13.

2332owner, there should be another size on the tire (even in japan? -- other pics I've seen had standard size markings). 200/500 is something I've never heard of. If they are 13s (non-metric), then the size should also be standard, something like 205/50.

Jap race tyres are sized this way, so 200mm wide, 500 mm tall...

These would be roughly equivalent to a Hoosier 20.0x7.5x13 slick, or praps a 225/35/13 road tyre

My Bridgestone Potenza slicks are 205/515/13's. 205 wide 515mm diameter, and suit 7" x 13 inch rim. YD1 compound is very sticky as well.

Now that's a size I've been wanting. I've searched some US tire sites, but nothing like this showed up. I suppose I need to contact a race tire supplier?(US).......... Jaime, when you were talking about "stretchies", are you saying I take my stock steel rims to someone & they widen them? Cause I haven't found a 12 or 13" rim that I like yet.(not many choices either).............PS: It looks like those are functional two piece rims. Quite neccessary with such a short sidewall?

Yeah I got all 4... 2 13X7's for the front and 2 13X8's for the rear. Around 40K yen with the Advan race tires.
