I always use a bit of hi-temp grease to seal the base gasket.

Yes, no sealer is needed. Just get the gasket surfaces clean. I've never had a leak doing this. No sealer.

Im asking because i had to put some gas in the carburettor because i was out of gas , and some of it came out truth the base gasket.

i dont know why!!! the gasket is new
